The Quaf\u00e1 Produ\u00e7\u00f5es<\/strong> is a Rio de Janeiro-based production company that has been working for 14 years in the production, management and fundraising of multilingual cultural projects, especially in initiatives linked to artistic manifestations of urban and peripheral culture.<\/p>

The Quaf\u00e1<\/strong> arises from a process of reformulation of its image and performance led by its current and sole partner, the cultural producer Rafael Fernandes. Quaf\u00e1 is its place of origin and creation, a housing complex in the West Zone of Rio, located in the neighborhood of Bangu, next to Vila Kennedy.<\/p>

Its focus will be on consulting and career development for young peripheral artists and their inclusion in public cultural policies.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tCultural producer from Rio de Janeiro, peripheral and gay, with 17 years of experience in production, management and fundraising for cultural projects in the body arts, performance and contemporary dance. \n

He has participated in festivals such as Panorama (2009\u20132023), Multiplicidade (2022) and Zona Preta (2022\u20132023), in addition to working with the companies REC and Suave on national and international tours.\n

In 2021, he created the project Entrando na Dan\u00e7a Queer, which gave rise to the film THE FACE OF BALL. \n

Since 2023, he has coordinated events such as Dia do Charme and Dia de Iemanj\u00e1, in addition to managing the Passinho da ZO project.\n

\nBetween 2022 and 2024, it produced, circulated and raised funds for shows by various artists, such as Tati Villela, Cia Afro Black, Davi Pontes & Wallace Ferreira, Kinho JP, Nyandra Fernandes, Leah Cunha, among others. \n

In 2024, he conceived and directed the show Vogue Funk, the Festival The Face of Ball\u2014the first event dedicated to Ballroom Culture in Rio de Janeiro\u2014and the Incubadora Quaf\u00e1 Produ\u00e7\u00f5es project. \n

Her current focus is on multilingual production with an emphasis on urban and peripheral culture, gender issues, sexuality and the dissemination of Brazilian performing arts.\n\n

Since 2017, he has collaborated with the Panorama Festival (RJ), holding roles such as production direction, curatorial assistance and educational coordination, including international editions such as the 2020 edition at the Centre National de la Danse (France) and Panoraminha nas Escolas (2023), with residencies in eight municipal schools in Rio.\n

She taught Arts with an emphasis on Dance and Theater in cities in RJ and SP.\nShe has a master's degree in Aesthetics and Philosophy of Art (UERJ), a bachelor's degree and a degree in Dance (UFRJ), and is a member of GEPEDANCE, coordinated by Silvia Soter.\n

He works at House of Mamba Negra, a collective linked to Ballroom culture and the LGBTQIAPN+ community. He has executive produced works such as Repert\u00f3rio, ATRAQUE, Vogue Funk and The Face of Ball Festival. \n

She also works as a costume designer and educator, having worked on projects such as Revengu\u00ea (MAR), Transportar \u2013 Vozes para o Amanh\u00e3 (Museu do Amanh\u00e3) and in the audiovisual sector with the projects Y\u00c3M\u00ce YAH-P\u00c1, Terceiro Goleiro and Sal\u00e3o de Baile (CPH:DOX \u2013 2024).\nHer artistic research is rooted in dance and street cultures, where she experiments with dressing as a gesture of resistance, survival and continuity.\n\n

She currently works as Executive Producer of Dia do Charme 2025, consolidating her trajectory in the field of arts and cultural production.

She worked as a financial planner at the Department of Culture of S\u00e3o Jo\u00e3o de Meriti (2013\u20132014) and was general co-producer of Rio FGC 2014, currently the Festival of Gender and Sexuality in Cinema.\n

\nBetween 2021 and 2022, he produced and directed pandemic theater experiments such as Waltz No. 6, Persegui\u00e7\u00e3o and Tr\u00eas Irm\u00e3s x Zumbis.\n

In 2022, she conceived and produced the show Woman with Horns Running. In 2023, she worked as a producer at the Rio Art Museum and the eMuseu do Esporte. In 2024, she joined the Quaf\u00e1 Produ\u00e7\u00f5es team.\n\n

He is currently studying Cultural Production through the Forma\u00e7\u00e3o da A\u00e7\u00e3o da Cidadania project and is part of the Urban Art Training team at Viaduto de Madureira as an executive production assistant. \n

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tLuiz Guilherme Guerreiro is a videomaker and documentary filmmaker with a degree in Cinema from UFF, winner of awards such as ABD S\u00e3o Paulo and Movie Rio.

He worked as a film reporter for international agencies and produced making-of films and audiovisual coverage of cultural festivals. He produced videos for institutions such as the Rio Art Museum and Shell Iniciativa Jovem, standing out in the artistic and film scene.
